"Every bowl we serve tells a story - a story of resilience, family, and the warmth of our home in Vietnam."

What you see isn't just a restaurant - it's a family's dream come true. From humble beginnings as Vietnamese refugees to becoming an Ottawa culinary landmark, our journey is a testament to hard work, dedication, and love for our community.
Today, sons MK and Tony carry on the tradition, ensuring every bowl of pho carries the same love and care their parents put into it from day one.

2nd Generation
An Van and Nga Luu arrive in Ottawa among the first Vietnamese refugees, thanks to Mayor Marion Dewar's initiative to welcome 4,000 refugees into the community.
Combining An Van's entrepreneurial spirit with Nga Luu's culinary artistry as a Pastry Chef at The Westin Hotel Ottawa, Sweet Art Restaurant opens in the ByWard Market.
The family business pivots to Pho By Night, opening until 4 AM on weekends to serve the night crowd of ByWard Market - hence the name!
Now led by sons MK and Tony, we continue serving authentic Vietnamese favorites with the freshest ingredients, honoring our family's legacy.
These principles guide every decision we make and every dish we serve.
Three generations of love and dedication in every bowl we serve.
We select the freshest vegetables and prepare our broth for over 24 hours.
Proudly rooted in Ottawa's ByWard Market, serving our neighbors for decades.
Traditional recipes passed down through generations.
